burned books

Burned Books is (tenatively) going to be the umbrella name for my design work. The first project I've got in the works is a collection of knit accessories, but I've got many ideas rumbling around in my skull.
This blog will be a place for me to post pictures of my works-in-progress, muse about inspirations, and keep track of ideas.

Crystal: Berkeley, CA; I am a recent graduate of California College of the Arts. I majored in Fashion Design, but if the truth is to be told, I'm interested in anything where textiles are the main medium- and I use the word 'textiles' very broadly. My aesthetic leans towards things that are deconstructed, antiquated, burned, subversive, and dirty; but don't assume that means that I'm not a stickler for details. I appreciate the fine way that things can look when they are painstakingly tailored.
